Largest Office Letting in Maidenhead in 10 years

Shepherds and Adobe in largest Maidenhead town centre office letting for a decade.

Market House in Maidenhead is a four storey headquarter office building totalling 75,390 sq ft.

The office was speculative, developed by Shepherd Developments in association with Durngate and was completed in late summer 2010.

Shepherd Developments, advised by Strutt & Parker has let 48,800 sq ft to Adobe Systems who we are relocating from Stockley Park on a 12 year lease at £29.50psf.

This is the largest letting in the town for over two years and in the town centre for over a decade.

Pall Sails to Portsmouth Harbour Gate

Pall Europe buys Portmouth Harbour Gate

A major South Coast requirment is close to being settled at Shepherd Developments’ Harbour Gate scheme in Portsmouth, Hampshire.

Fliuid filtration group Pall Europe is in talks to pay around £20m for the freehold of the 140,000sq ft 5 Harbour Gate, which was for many years the site of pharmaceuticals giant Johnson & Johnson’s Portsmouth headquaters.

Pall, advised by BNP Paribas Real Estate, has been seeking to expand out of its Europa House offices eslewhere in the city for two years.

Harbour Gate is presently occupied by marine electronics manufacturer Raymarine, which took a prelet on 125,000sq ft at the complex in 2007. Raymarine will now seek space elsewhere in Portsmouth.

Shepherd and development partner Durngate were selected to speculatively build Harbour Gate by the South East of England Development Agency in October 2005.

The 4.1-acre site, which lies at the entract to Portsmouth City, close to junction 12 of the M27, was the largest development in Portsmouth for five years.

Durngate Estates (Farnham) Limited have let Unit C2, Endeavour Place, Coxbridge Business Park, Farnham, Surrey to Madeprice Limited.

The healthcare and care home management company have taken a 947 sq ft (88 sq m) ground floor office suite at Endeavour Place on a five year lease at an average annual rent of £13,800. The lease includes three car parking spaces.
