| State of the Art Office Development Underway in Worthing |
Artists impression of the innovative Yeoman Gate development. Fri 16th Jun 2006/ID44 Media ReleaseConstruction of an innovative office development – the most significant in Worthing in the last 20 years - has just got underway. The £6 million scheme called Yeoman Gate is being built by Durngate Property Group and will comprise of 13 units ranging from 1554 sq ft to 5500 sq ft, all of which will be available to purchase freehold or to let. There has already been interest in the development, with one unit pre-let to regional accountants Spofforths and a second unit pre-sold to land agents R W Hilder and Co with a third unit under offer. Each building at Yeoman Gate will be two-storey, fully self-contained and finished to a high standard with the benefit of allocated car parking. Scheduled for completion by early 2007, Yeoman Gate is situated to the west of Worthing town centre close to the A27 east/west trunk road. The development has the added advantage of being serviced by established public transport such as the mainline railway station providing links to London and the south coast. Nic Evans, of Durngate Property Group, said: “This is an excellent opportunity for both local and regional companies looking to re-locate to modern, purpose-built offices or for businesses that are looking to re-locate from further afield." “The fact that three buildings have already been taken off plan demonstrates that we are filling a much-needed gap in the Worthing commercial property market. We anticipate significant interest in Yeoman Gate during the coming months.” Durngate Property Group has already completed similar projects in Havant – with eight out of 12 units successfully sold or under offer - and Farnham – which was launched in March 2006 and has already secured more than 50% occupancy.
